9:00 - 9:30
Arrival and free play. The children and duty day parents arrive. Children are free to play in any of the interest centres.
9:30 - 10:00
Music time. Children are directed to the music room. Children participate in songs, finger plays, action songs and simple games.
10:00 - 10:45
Free Play and Creative Time. The children are free to play in any of the interest centres. Small groups work with teachers at the creative arts centre. Children are encouraged to assist in tidying before moving to a new activity.
10:45 - 11:00
Washroom time. The children are assisted with toileting and hand washing before snack.
11:00 - 11:15
Snack time. Snack is served at the snack tables. Children are expected to tidy their own snack dishes.

Story time. Children go to story room and choose books to look at quietly until all children are assembled. Once assembled, a story is read to them. Weather and calendar are also discussed.

Dismissal
Dentonia welcomes children between 2 and 4 years of age. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them. The nursery school program is designed to provide opportunities for the child's physical, emotional, social, perceptual and cognitive growth and development. The schedule is structured to provide the child with a discipline building routine, as well as free time that enables them to make choices.
Dentonia offers a morning nursery program that runs from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. from Monday to Friday. Our school is in operation from September through June and follows the public school holiday schedule.
